Fraser Rehabilitation Services
Music Therapy
Music therapy is an integral part of Fraser educational and rehabilitation programs. Through music therapy, children learn skills for life, including: academic, social, emotional, communication and physical skills. Music therapy has therapeutic and educational benefits for children of all abilities.
Our music therapy offerings include:
- individual music therapy sessions
- adapted music lessons
- Musical Journeys (view spring 2010 schedule)
- small music therapy groups
- sibling music therapy groups
Music Therapy Internships
Music therapy interns have played an intergral part of the rehabilitation team at Fraser School since 1991. Our Music Therapy internship program is accredited through the American Music Therapy Association. Creative, energetic students who have completed four years of academic training are encouraged to contact Kay Luedtke-Smith, MT, BC, for an application packet (612-798-8335 or kay@fraser.org).
