School-Based Mental Health Services

Fraser School-Based Mental Health services help kids succeed by providing mental health care in a familiar environment. The therapy positively impacts a child’s education, learning and success. It also helps teachers manage behaviors in the classroom.

Children and teens might be dealing with:
  • Anxiety
  • Attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD)
  • Adjustment disorders
  • Autism
  • Trauma or stressor disorders
  • Depression
  • Other mental illness

Individualized, Collaborative Care

Our school-based therapists create individualized mental health plans for students and provide consultations to parents. We also work with teachers to provide classroom strategies to manage challenging behaviors and offer professional training courses to advance educators’ mental health knowledge and competency.

Easier Access and Better Outcomes

School-based mental health services provide easier access to mental health care and better outcomes for students and families. Our therapists offer individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and day treatment services.

Fraser currently offers services at schools and Head Start programs in Edina, Minneapolis, St. Paul and Bloomington, and Ramsey, Anoka and Washington Counties. We are also working to expand services to more school districts.
