A Guiding Star to Navigate Autism, Mental Health and Special Needs at Every Stage of Life

Neuropsychology

The unknown can be terrifying. As a parent, all you want to do is help your child, but you may not know how. With over 80 years serving children and families, Fraser is Minnesota’s largest and most experienced provider of autism and early childhood mental health services. We can help you and your family find answers.

Evaluating Your Child’s Needs

Fraser Neuropsychology serves children and teens who have neurodevelopmental or neurological disorders. Fraser neuropsychologists begin by giving each child a diagnostic evaluation. Our experts examine children to get a picture of their cognitive abilities and their level of social, emotional and behavioral adjustment.

Neurodevelopmental disorders include complex cases of attention deficit disorder (ADD), autism, developmental delay and learning disabilities. Neurological disorders might include seizures, traumatic brain injuries, brain tumors, Tourette’s disorder or infectious diseases.

Finding a Path Forward for Your Family

If your child receives a diagnosis, our neuropsychologists create intervention plans that center around your child’s strengths to help compensate for areas where he or she may not be as strong. They may also refer you to therapy providers, doctors and other educational and community resources that can strengthen your child’s social and emotional skills.
