A Guiding Star to Navigate Autism, Mental Health and Special Needs at Every Stage of Life

Pediatric Therapy

As children grow, some develop more slowly than others. This is perfectly normal, but some children may face more serious issues. They struggle with movement and coordination or have difficulty with speech or hearing. Some children have trouble socializing or feel overwhelmed by different environments and situations. Others find eating challenging.

Early treatment means better results

Research shows when children get help earlier, they tend to have better results. Fraser Pediatric Therapy offers services for children with motor and sensory dysfunction, decreased developmental and functional skills, speech and language issues, and feeding and swallowing difficulties. These programs are for infants and children up to age 12.

If your child is experiencing any of these issues, our therapists can meet with you and your child for an evaluation or consultation. From there, we find the right services for your child’s unique needs.

Individualized services for each child

We recommend services based on the strengths and challenges of each child. Fraser therapists use a variety of specialized therapies and techniques to improve each child’s results. We also coordinate care with parents, caregivers, teachers, other mental health professionals and primary care providers. Our goal is to make sure your child receives whole-body care that responds to his or her changing needs.

Fraser offers the following pediatric therapy services:
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physical Therapy
  • Speech-Language Therapy
  • Learn Talk Play
Learn Talk Play

Learn Talk Play is a service exclusive to Fraser. The program was developed by our therapists to serve children who have difficulty in a typical classroom setting, but don’t need intensive therapy. It’s for children, ages 4-6 and 7-12, who need occupational therapy, speech-language therapy or both.

Learn Talk Play teaches children to interpret social cues and interact with their peers. Children learn how to play with other children, follow and participate in a group plan, think about others, cope with the unexpected and express emotions.
