Many Minnesota families are dealing with mental health, development and behavior challenges. Each year, 1 in 59 children is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.
As a pediatrician, you see children experience these challenges every day.
Research shows people with mental illness experience some of the highest costs, worst health outcomes and most disjointed care. We know mental health and physical health are tightly linked.
Fraser is Minnesota’s largest and most experienced provider of autism and early childhood mental health services. Though we’re known for our autism services, we provide a range of services to children suffering from mental health concerns, behavioral issues and those who have developmental disabilities.
Fraser partners with pediatricians like you to improve children’s health and wellness. We use a whole-body approach focused on integrating mental health, medical and other healthcare services to better serve our mutual patients. A whole-body approach works to prevent chronic conditions that threaten wellbeing and multiply costs for healthcare systems.
We have refined our referral process to help more families access services. Fraser now has more than 700 clinicians on staff. We have also added more first appointments, so we can help more people find answers.
Over the past decade, we substantially expanded services to support the increased prevalence of mental health and autism spectrum disorders. Fraser offers over 30 unique autism services, and no other organization in the Upper Midwest has our depth and breadth of services. We continue to add new services to address the most critical needs in access.
Working with Fraser can save you time. Our clinicians help pediatricians triage mental health cases to find the most appropriate team for care. We also work with you to assess each patient’s coordination needs, including mental health and medical needs.
Fraser staff are trained to collaborate with external partners, and we use your input to improve a patient’s treatment plan. As your partner, we communicate updates and changes in the patient’s condition, so you have all the information needed to care for your patient.
