Fraser School is an inclusive environment for children of all abilities to play, learn and grow together. However, Fraser School is more than just a school. We provide infant and toddler child care, preschool and pre-K programs for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old.
Research shows that both children with typical needs and special needs benefit from spending time with their peers in inclusive settings. At Fraser School, we encourage this integration because we have seen it help our students develop in unique and life-changing ways.
Pre-K classrooms are for children who will attend kindergarten the following year. Our teachers focus on helping students develop the skills needed for a successful transition.
In each classroom, we have learning centers that help your children build academic, fine motor and other skills. We also work on increasing your child’s attention span through longer, larger group activities. Fraser teachers use play-based activities and music sessions to help children learn and grow.
We are accredited through the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA), which meets all of the Minnesota Department of Education standards. Our teachers use The Creative Curriculum®, which is considered the gold standard for infant, toddler and preschool curriculum. Your child is also assessed twice a year to monitor his or her social/emotional, cognitive, physical and language development.
Another benefit of attending Fraser School is that we offer flexible scheduling. Your child can attend T/Th, MWF, or M-F with flexible, but set hours within these programs.
